Artwork plays a pivotal role in the styling, adding personality and depth to the interiors.

Note

The gold desk in the study adds a touch of refinement and contrast against these softer tones, acting as a focal piece that brings warmth and a sense of sophistication to the workspace, while also demonstrating how a stylish study area can function within the home

Note

The brief here was to create something calm and sophisticated but still distinctly residential. We worked with a warm, neutral palette and introduced plenty of texture through the upholstery and soft furnishings, with artwork adding those final touches of personality.

The styling of this Notting Hill property has been carefully orchestrated through a considered balance of furniture, artwork and colour, creating interiors that feel both curated and effortlessly liveable. Decoroom has used furniture not simply to furnish the space, but to define scale, guide movement and establish a clear design rhythm throughout the home.

In the living areas, furniture choices are soft-lined and inviting, with sofas and armchairs upholstered in muted, neutral tones that allow the architecture and natural light to remain the focal point. These larger anchor pieces are complemented by carefully selected occasional tables and accent furniture, introducing contrast through material and form without overwhelming the space. This layering helps the rooms feel grounded yet visually light — a key element in achieving a relaxed, residential atmosphere.

Artwork plays a pivotal role in the styling, adding personality and depth to the interiors. Rather than dominating the rooms, pieces have been thoughtfully positioned to create focal points and visual pauses, drawing the eye and subtly reinforcing the colour palette. The artwork helps prevent the scheme from feeling generic, injecting character and individuality while remaining broadly appealing.

The colour palette is calm and cohesive, built around warm neutrals with soft tonal variations. These hues create a unifying thread that flows from room to room, enhancing the sense of continuity and balance throughout the property. Subtle accents in artwork, cushions and accessories add gentle layers of interest, ensuring the home feels textured and complete rather than flat or overly styled.

In the bedrooms, upholstered furniture, layered textiles and restrained artwork combine to create serene, restful environments. The use of soft colour and tactile finishes helps these spaces feel intimate and inviting, while maintaining the clean, elegant aesthetic established elsewhere in the home.

Overall, the styling demonstrates how furniture, art and colour work in harmony to elevate the property. Decoroom’s approach results in a home that feels considered and sophisticated, yet warm and welcoming — a space that encourages emotional connection and allows prospective buyers to easily imagine themselves living within it.
